In the FCIAC, Matt McKernan had two hits and two RBIs as St. Joseph defeated New Canaan 3-1 for head coach Jim Chaves’ 100th career victory. Chaves is 100-37 as the Cadets’ head coach. St. Joseph improved to 8-4 heading into Tuesday’s game vs. Darien.
