Tucker Root, Brendan Sirois, Daniel Turecek, and Jose, who also earned the pitching win in relief, had two hits apiece for Coginchaug (5-3).
Ty Schuler and Kyle Crandall each had two hits for H-K (8-1).
Putnam 8, Hale-Ray 5 >> At Moodus, Nick Foucault went 3-for-3 with a double and two RBIs to lead the Clippers (5-2) to a non-league win.
Foucault also struck out nine to earn the win. The Noises fell to 0-7.
Valley Regional 3, Old Lyme 1 >> At Deep River, senior righthander Nash Eppard tossed a one-hitter with 10 strikeouts to end the Warriors three-game skid.
Ryan Kelly had three hits and Jake Meketa added two hits for Valley (5-3). The Wildcats fell to 3-5.

Cromwell 14, Old Saybrook 2 (6) >> Senior pitcher Maddy Budzik tossed a five-hitter to earn her third win in as many games, and Jenna Masiello, had three hits, including an inside-the-park home run, to spark the host Panthers.
Taylor Wood had four hits, including a three-run homer, and Kaila Donadio and Kate Pitreszek laced three hits apiece for Cromwell (5-3).
The Rams fell to 2-6.
Prince Tech 24, Vinal Tech 23 >> At Hartford, Jamilette Zayas hit a game-winning two-run homer in the bottom of the seventh to lift the host Falcons (2-3).
Mariah Duteau had four hits, including a double and home run, and five RBIs for the Hawks (1-4).
